First Year Application Process

°®½´ÊÓƵ offers two admission timeline options, plus special guidance for Physician Assistant Students:

Rolling °®½´ÊÓƵ

We review complete applications throughout the year starting August 1, 2024

Early Action

Apply by November 1, 2024. Students who apply by November 1 and commit to °®½´ÊÓƵ by making a tuition deposit by March 1, 2025 are eligible for the Four-Year Tuition Guarantee which guarantees your tuition rate for all four undergraduate years at °®½´ÊÓƵ.

Physician Assistant (PA) Students only

Apply by November 1, 2024 to be eligible for the first round of PA interviews. Applications will be accepted after this date and admission will depend on space availability.

  2. Send us your high school transcripts. We can start your application with an unofficial transcript, but you will need to send an official transcript prior to registering for classes.
  3. Write a 250 word essay on a topic of your choice. 

Important

  • °®½´ÊÓƵ is test-optional, no standardized test scores are required.
  • If you are applying to our Physician Assistant program, submit two letters of recommendation.
  • Letters of recommendation are not required for any other major.
  • to receive your full financial aid package.°®½´ÊÓƵ’s federal school code is 002808 and our TAP (NY state) code is 002808.

Graduate Application Process
  1. Complete our .
  2. As you complete the application, you will be able to upload your transcripts, resume and personal statement directly to the application or you can use daemen.edu/admupload.
    We can start your application with an unofficial transcript, but you will need to send an official transcript prior to registering for classes.
  3. As part of the application process you can request references or upload any letters of recommendation directly to the online application. Please note the following:
    • Two letters of recommendation are required for admission to the following °®½´ÊÓƵ Graduate Programs: Applied Behavior Analysis, International Business, Leadership and Innovation, Physical Therapy, and Public Health.
    • Nursing Graduate Programs: Recommendation letters are NOT required for the application.
    • Social Work Graduate Programs: Three recommendation letters are required for the application.
    • Physician Assistant Program: Three recommendation letters are required for the CASPA application. 

Students seeking direct entry into the Physician Assistant, and Physical Therapy graduate programs should apply using the following application services: 

  • Physician Assistant -  (Deadline: January 15)
  • Physical Therapy -  (Deadline: December 1)

Transfer Application Process (including RN to BS Program Applicants)
  1. Complete our  or the .
  2. Upload your transcripts from any college or university that you have attended to our application or to daemen.edu/admupload.
    We can start your application with an unofficial transcript, but you will need to send an official transcript prior to registering for classes.
  3. If you have not completed a college degree, you will need to send us your high school transcripts.

Please note: There is no essay requirement and letters of recommendation are not required for transfer students.
