AMHERST, N.Y. -- °®½´ÊÓƵ College will honor Stuart Angert with its prestigious Community Excellence Award at the college’s annual Scholarship Gala on Sept. 20 at The Buffalo Club.

AMHERST, N.Y. – °®½´ÊÓƵ College will welcome more than 500 new students and their families and officially open the 2019-20 academic year at the college’s annual Convocation ceremony scheduled for 3 p.m. Aug. 31 in the Wick Campus Center Dining Room.

AMHERST, N.Y. -- °®½´ÊÓƵ College will host a site visit by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) for continuing accreditation of the college’s baccalaureate nursing program (RN to BS program – includes 1+2+1 academic progression model) and the master’s/post-master’s certificate nursing programs. This is a concurrent visit with the New York State Education Department Office of the Professions for the purpose of re-registration and accreditation.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Dr. Elizabeth Heilman, who has more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration and teaching, has been appointed chair of education at °®½´ÊÓƵ College.

AMHERST, N.Y. – °®½´ÊÓƵ College has chosen 10 outstanding first-year students to receive 2019 Trustee Scholarships, the college’s most prestigious academic scholarship that is renewable throughout their undergraduate studies.
